Every good love story always is.
Every good story also has conflict. It is said that there was no suitable helper for Adam so oddly, God made him hang out with the animals and give them all names. Some have said that this naming would have taken over 100 years minimum given the number of species on this planet. That's a really long time to wait. And yet when Adam finally saw this new creation, he said "This is bone of my bone, flesh of my flesh"—all the conflict and tension in his waiting and longing and he had finally met someone just like him. It was this with new-found partner and best-friend in Eve upon which God laid the foundation of marriage.
Good stories all have conflict, but when we let God write them, they end up becoming the greatest stories ever told and shared with generations to come.
